Unreleased documentation. These pages follow the main branch and can change before the next release. For supported guidance, use v0.44.0.
Ask, as the custodian, for a document's erasure; release stops at once.
const url = 'https://example.com/v1/documents/2489E9AD-2EE2-8E00-8EC9-32D5F69181C0/erasure';const options = {method: 'POST', headers: {Authorization: 'Bearer <token>'}};
try { const response = await fetch(url, options); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data);} catch (error) { console.error(error);}curl --request POST \ --url https://example.com/v1/documents/2489E9AD-2EE2-8E00-8EC9-32D5F69181C0/erasure \ --header 'Authorization: Bearer <token>'Takes no Idempotency-Key: the request is repeat-safe by construction. The first request moves the version to erasure; a repeat moves nothing, revokes nothing, keeps the first due time, and answers the document as it stands, so a client that lost the answer may simply send it again.
